Does anyone know where I can find this information? Ive done about an hour or so of searching so I figure I'd ask at this point. I bought an old hardbody for next to nothing but the chain guide had grenaded so the previous owner had taken various parts off and threw all the bolts in a box. Having a hard time being sure of what bolts go where and I do not want to mess up the reinstall.

Thanks for any help (Truck came with an sr20det and transmission in the bed too!)

You'll want to get your FSM. I'm not sure if the bolt lengths will be listed in this situation, but a little trial and error should work, assuming your box of parts isn't huge. http://www.nicoclub.com/archives/use-ni ... abase.html

Time consuming but you could screw the bolts into the block and measure the distance the bolt goes in - Plus the length of the cover, this will give you the correct bolt length. Look at eBay there is a picture of used timing bolts. There are various sizes but this will give you a ball park idea, so when you look in the parts bushel basket you have an idea what to look for. The bolt lengths are pretty close.
