ka24e timing chain problem

ok i just replace my whole timing chain just two months ago and everything was brand new made from japan.........and now i hear my chain rattle on a cold start and i know it is the timing chain tensioner. has this ever happen to anyone and if it did happen can i just replace my tensioner and just say it is ok or am i going to have to replace everything again. help please

the ka does that when you start it you can't escape it mines still doing it

depending on the oil type it may take a min or 2 for the oil sestem to reach optimal operating pressure and if the tensioner is pressure driven it may be allowing the chain to slack a little till the engine and oil is up to operating temp / pressure.

no i know how it works but i just need to know what i should......it only started a couple of days ago
