ka24e ticking

i got a 1990240sx with the stock ka24e. and when me engine is running there is a pretty noticeable ticking from the back of the engine, to me is sounds like a lifter or something in that area. if you have any idea wat that could be please let me know.

its more than likely a lifter, have fun with that. its common thing with the SOHC's
