I have a 90 KA24E 208k stock and when I start the car and drive I can hear a ticking noise near the exhaust side somewhere between the exhaust manifold and the cat. It ticks around 1500 to 3000 rpm and then it stops and it only does it until the car is driven for about 10 minutes. It's louder under load but if I rev in neutral it's faint. It's not very loud though.

check out the TSB(tech. service bulletin) on timing chain guides, believe someone posted a how to on it. They some time get to where they make a ticking noise from around the top TC cover or valve cover.little further back in this section you should find it. hope this helps

I'm pretty sure I'm not low on oil but I'll check it. I seriously doubt it's the timing chain because it's a lot quieter and it's not as rampant.

Sounds like you got an exhaust leak.

I figured it out guys that's for all the input. It was the hydraulic lifters. Thanks a lot haha
