Hey everybody, I did a search but couldn't find an an answer.

Will the throttle body off of a ka24e work on the ca18det? I know the ka24de throttle body will work, but what about the ka24e?

The reason I ask is because I've got a ka24e throttle body sitting on my ca18et, and would like to upgrade the ca18det throttle body to something bigger. Hoping somebody could help.

I'm running a KA24E. Just flip it upside down and there ya go. It is a little bigger than the CA intake manfold, so you will want to port the intake.

The water lines going uder the TB will stick straight up, so I cut those off. It's baller status too: It says Hitachi on top of the TB now. Hells yeah.

So is the TPS compatible? Or do you need to reuse your CA TPS?

iu thought u had to take apart the assembly and fit the TPS mounting section to the KA TB...bolts right in...and so willl the butterfly from the KA to the CA assembly...or am i just mixed up and making stuff complicated ...

would a DE CA TB be compatible with a DET TB...
