KA24E Test pipe and ecu codes

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

I made myself a nice test-pipe to put on my car just because I hate the CARB, and I had some spare time and metal. Anyway, it sounds nice and doesn't backfire. The thing is after driving around for a while the CEL came on. I checked it out and the ECU gave me codes 32 and 41. EGR and Intake Air Temperature Sensor. I reset them and a few miles down the same codes reappeared. How could these be related to the test pipe?
