Alright, i went through a puddle, had all sorts of problems, yada yada yada. Now, after replacing:Spark plugs (NGK G-Power)Spark plug wires (bosch)Dist. CapDist. RotorDistributor (re manufactured)a coila coil transistor pack

The truck is finally running, but i still have NO rpm gauge. When we get it started and running, the truck runs but you can tell that the truck is 'missing'. When i start out driving, and ease out of the clutch and give it gas it will want to jerk and shut off. If i give her hell down the road, giving it gas, it will start to miss and jerk around. Even after playing with the timing for over ~2 hours the truck is still missing.

Any ideas? Could the plugs be to much for the truck? They wern't 'high grade' or anything, but they wern't the cheapest

I started to follow through the wiring schematics last night, but didn't find to much with the tachometer. I found a fuseable link (iirc) that I am going to check on tonight.

I have been searching for a while, but can't find to much
