It's more of a "do they make a turbo manifold" for it.. and I believe they do, as there are a few ET cars floating around the Turbo KA forum. It would bolt if, from my understanding, but all the wiring is different so it's not going to be worth it.

ok you have an 89=ka24e. If you plan on going de you will need to rewire.

Turbo manifolds have been made for both engines, you just have to look.

Both engines will respond nicely to turbocharging with good tuning.

Just as an FYI, before the flame war ensues...

There isn't a ka24det engine, there never was one. That's just what people call a ka24de that's been turboed with aftermarket parts.

And yes, there are plenty of turbo parts to be had for both engines, you just have to get out there and look for them.

Not trying to flame or put you down or anything, just trying to be informative. :)

there are no ka24de that come stock with turbo. U usually just buy a turbo kit for your existing ka whether it be DE or E. aftermarket parts are all over the place. i dont any sites off the top of my head.

Hey guy, there's a KA section in this forum that can answer all of your questions. XS Engineering, NSport, Greddy, RealNissan sell decent kits... If you're serious about this project, do some research, you may find that making your own kit might be cheaper and have better results.

Check this new site...http://www.nizzx.comGot an email from them and looks like they have manifolds for all three and are actually good looking.
