Hi im new to the NICOclub. I have a 90 nissan 240sx im having problems with it running rich at idle and high rpms. I have 550cc venom injectors with a 90 300zx mafs. The computer has the emance chip in it. The turbo is a T25. Also the engine has only 9in of vaccum and my idle stays at 600rpms at idle. Anyone have an idea.

I would check all my vacuum system for leaks first. Take some WD-40 and spray all connections and if your idle changes, you found your leak. Then if that doesn't do it, you may want to find someone with a wide band to check your afr across the board. I recommend a dyno shop to do that though. They can help you figure it out. You may want to contact Jason at E-mance and ask his advice. He's a great guy who will gladly help if he can.

OK thanks for the info. I rebuilt the motor i was wondering if i had the timing off. Like if it was 5degres BTDC? But now i will go and check for leaks.

If your cam timing is off it can create low vac and your car will probably idle crappy and stumble a bit.

OK I found the air leak and the car runs better. Now my question is with the maf sensor pluged in the car wount start unless i have my foot on the gas and i keep it there. But with the maf sensor unpluged the car starts fine and idles fine but starts to stumble when i rev up. Im thinking i may have a bad mass air flow meter. Because the should need that to run.
