After replacing a bad intake manifold gasket that caused a vacuum leak in my car, we turn the car on and all if good. Car sounds like it should, but then after about 5 seconds the car just dies.

When i unplug the MAF the car stays on without a problem and idles at 700 rpm.

Car has a SAFC hooked up. We replaced the alternator and checked to make sure it is running, which it is. Checked the alternator fuse also and its ok.

Anyone have this type of problem before?

Thanks in advance,

Tomek

EDIT: It was the IN and OUT settings on the SAFC. I changed them to 1 IN and 6 OUT and it's back to normal now. YAY!

Well I dont have any answers just questions. Where did you buy your turbo setup from? I'm planning on making my ka24e (brand new from factory) a turbo like yours. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated

It sounds like either you dont have your SAFC In/Out settings right or your maf is bad.
