ka24e swap into hardbody

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

hey i have been searching for hours. im trying to swap a kae from a 90 240 into an 89 hardbody the mechanical part of it is done but the electrical part im having trouble with. i have the harness and ecu but the trucks harness is intertwined into the body harness..... any gurus out there please feel free to give some advice.

I don't really know about wiring too much. I know you said the engine harness is intertwined with the cassis harness, but is that just loomed together or do they actually share circuits?

inner twined as in not that they share circuits but that its not like the 240 were the ecu harness go to the engine and thats it. some of these wires go in the dash insted of into the engine bay. like my coil wires come out on the drivers side of the engine bay while the rest of it goes in on the passenger side.

You might have to isolate everything
