KA24E starts up rough.... plz help

Ok, heres my problem, when my engine is actually on it runs pretty good.(as well as a stock 89 can run). Problem is my car doesnt wanna start sometimes. Makes this almost metal on metal sound(not the starter), and wont start up till ive tried acouple of times. Once it does start up the whole car shakes like crazy for a few seconds, then runs fine. Another thing i should add, it only does that if its been sitting for acouple of days or even abit more than half a day. If i start it 5 times in a day itll start up just fine.

Back ground on car, bought it recently, and the tags have been out since 02, so this could be a big factor, whether or not its been sitting for awhile.

Any help will be appreciated.
