ka24e sputters

i have a ka24e that sputters when im takking off and when i hit the gas to pick up speed. the car wants to go it just wont. what would you guys say it is?

I'd check injectors/ fuel pump.

Yes, I'd check everything related to the fuel.
How long as it been since your fuel filter has been changed?

Also, clean the mass air flow sensor, Autozone and similar places sell a can of electrical/air flow sensor cleaner.

its ben a couple months since i changes it out. i realized that it only sputters when its cold in the morning it still does it a little after warming up but not nearly as bad as the morning.
last week i took off the throttle body and cleaned that out also cleaned the k&n filter and took the mafs out and cleaned that with a silk cloth.

make sure the throttlbody isnt leaking( gasket). and like breadbox said check the injectors...more specific the injector orings. make sure all the connections to the mafs are good. next time it does this unplug the mafs and see if the symptoms worsen. if they dont then your mafs is bad or going bad
