You don't really need one. Just modify the stock airbox and put in a drop in filter. Pretty much the same thing except without the bling.

Right now I have zip ties on the plastic bit so the filter doesnt rub against the tire well..

carb = C.A.R.B. = California Air Restrictions Board

carb legal means it is legal for use on all emissions controlled highway vehicles in all 50 states. Some intake kits are not carb legal, so you cannot use them in california and some major cities.

just go on ebay you can get a aftermarket air filter with a nismo cone filter for about 50 dollars total theres different colors too

Those are for the KA24DE, not E

See the bend, and in the bend the vacuum things.. That gets in the way of a pipe, near the belts on the E, and so on..

What's up Ace, I just bought that AEM DE pipe off you. I'd just get an intake pipe and bend it to fit the stock air box with Blitz drop-in filter. I'm convinced that sticking a cone filter on stock piping is like adding a magnaflow muffler to a stock exhaust... sure it sounds better, but we all laugh at ricers with a muffler on stock piping.

I am going to prove/disprove my theory when I get it finished. Columbia has a dyno with 3 runs for 50$

how did you pull off 140hp and a 0-60 time of under 10secs. with a ka24e? this off topic i know...but you should let me in on what you've got.....please i want my ka24e to go fast too

Ill take a pic of my engine pay... VERY DIRTY...

But, silicone vacuum lines, this intake, new injectors and the pair valve tube is off...

You can also pull the battery, and let your ecu learn your driving habits..

Driving like a jackass I get around 20mpg :-)
