KA24E Shaking badly-Please help me

Ok so im about to buy my 1st 240 and i go to see the car. It starts up and the motor is shaking pretty badly. The car drives but has a very low idle and seems to sputter and want to cut off. Im thinking maybe compression is way off or maybe its running on 3 cylinders, i dunno. But if somebody can give me a clue on what the problem is or possible solutions it will be greatly appreciated.

check you compression and check you fuel injectors they always go out.

sorry bout that, its a 1990 se, auto, 122K, ka24e, and the only performance mod is air intake. I have a picture of the motor if that would help anyone. I think its compression 2 like stuck valves or something. If i sea foamed it would it help any. He's offering a great price for the car and he might go lower. I need a daily driver but don't have alotta cash so I wanna just buy it then try and fix it.

i had the same prob but mine was a injector

sounds exactly like a bad injector, mine ws doing the EXACT same thing, just fixed it in fact. 4 reman. injectors will cost you about $210.
