KA24E running issues

Hey everyone.

I have been having some issues with my KA24E.

About 3 weeks ago I was on a trip to indy to pick up my CA18DET when my engine started acting up. If i let off the clutch it would either go down to about 2-300 rpm for a sec then go back to 7-800 and bounce a little, or it would just die. Also, while running, at about half throttle, near cruising throttle, it would sputter alot, then if I let off it would buck pretty hard, then go smooth again at low throttle, and if i went higher throttle it would smooth out. Got horrable gas milage also.

I thought it may have been timing issues, but then a day or 2 later, it went away. I didnt think timing issues went away.

Its been about 3 weeks now and its back. Not sure what it is. Though it was a vaccume issue, but cant find any leaks. Would a fuel filter do this?

What else could be the issue?

Several things to check:1 - leaking EGR valve2 - dirty air filter3 - dirty spark plugs4 - vacuum leak

EGR is the circular thing by the fuel rail? *sigh* i feel so noob, but what does it mean and what does it do?

Just checked codes, got a 12-13-41

Mass Air Flow Sensor 12Coolant Temperature Sensor 13Intake Air Temp Sensor 41

So bad maf and 2 bad sensors?
