Post

hello,my name is Jordan and i am new to the web site. i am 17. i have a 1991 nissan stanza. it has the ka24e in it and i was wondering if some performance parts such as msd ignition, after market fuel injectors, and the exhaust manifold bolt pattern(if they are the same). i really want to make it faster but its nearly impossible to find performance parts for it. if you have any ideas on how, i would be more than happy to hear them. i'll try almost anything once. lol.

your answers would be greatly appreciated!

(don't hate cause i got a stanza. its all i could afford. lol.)

msd ignition wont get you much if any gains and bigger injectors wont do anything either unless you get your ecu tuned or some other form of fuel management.

since you just got the car ide recomend doing the basic tune up / replace the plugs / plug wires / dizzy cap and rotor / etc etc.

stock / na ka isint gonna make much power unless you want to drop a crap ton of money into a total rebuild and even then its not really an efficent usage of your $ when you can turbo it for a lot less and make more power.

the cheapest power for the $ is a turbo set up. imo

i have thought about the turbo, but i looked for like the turbo exhaust manifold and im not 100% on what to get. lol. i could probably find a cheap turbo kit for a 240 but wont i still need the exhaust manifold?

i just got done rebuilding my ka24e in my 240. i looked into the turbo side of it and found jgs, cxracing, and phase2motortrend.com all have turbo manis and parts for it. the best i think is the one from p2m its a top mount that fits a t3 turbo. if you do go turbo you will need a downpipe along with a exhaust, intercooler and piping, bigger injectors, oil lines, coolant lines and a tuned ecu which is preventing me from doing it due to not much money lol. other than that im staying N/A till i get more money.
