ka24e port & polish

i have a spare head that im wanting to port & polish i have looked up this topic and no one helped. does anyone know if its even worth the time doing it (will it increase a noticeable hp). and do you think i will need to buy new valve seats and guids

I started a thread which has some good info regarding head work (P/P, valve cutting, etc...). I'm not claiming it has all the info, but it is a good start. Best thing about it is that the understanding is universal; it applies to all engines, mild to wild, as they are all pretty much air pumps.

^ good info. I did a mild job and a valve lap on mine.
