looks like someone woke up on the wrong side of bed.i was asking for a picture to see what it could be. the tensioner is still there, therefore it cannot be the tensioner that is in pieces.so really, all i was asking for was a picture.Quote » next time search 30 people looked in here and were all like f%$@^%$@H search and did not help you[/quote]what the hell.. i DID search. you made no sense at all with this last sentence.neverlift wrote:magic button called search those G/D pieces R the friggin' tensioner its a piece of plastic shizzle that when you buy a new one will be plastic.
did i not JUST say that the tensioner is STILL there in my last post? you need to learn how to read and write. i see 1 incomplete sentence, poor spelling, and poor use of commas.all i need is a picture, that would help out tons.neverlift wrote:if there isnt 2 pieces. a tensioner on each side then thats what it is, and if this is so you did not search or read. im just trying to figure out why you would say any ideas of wht it could be? and not want my help that sentence means $#@t4e5e%*%$865
god your such a gangster with your leet spelling. what a ****bag you are. but can you not read? i said in my second post in this thread that i DID search. i searched google, 240sx forums, here, local forums. i did NOT find what i was looking for. therefore i made a ****ing picture request here to see what the hell it could be.neverlift wrote:gotta get that to give it, if he really searched I would not have had to say guide. I said on the other side just said tens. instead of guide. shoot me on the whole grammar shizzle my nizzle cuz I dont give a shizzle.
yes i put picture in place of it to cut down on length of this post.but anyways, thank you for the pictures!now.. the reason i didnt think it was the tensioner or guides was because they were on when we tore the engine down. so now im guessing that someone previously replaced the guide without taking the pan off and dumping the plastic **** out.nvrplzd240 wrote:here.. i took some pics of mine for ya... when i took it apart, i had plastic chips in the pan too, and they came from the tension side of the timing chain guide. here are two pics of what mine looks like

and this is the location in which it broke off

there are two guides.. one.. on the left is the tension side i think.. you can pick it up on courtesyparts.com for somethin like 11 bucks (its the straight one). on the right side, there is a curved guide (called the slack guide). This guide is way more expensive to pick up, coming in at 43 bucks. My tension side guide is the one that broke, and im sure you hope thats the one that snapped on his too
well, hope this helps
was it really necessary to double post? what is your problem anyway? are you like made 100% of the time or what? because it seems like it to me.you need to chill the hell out. people like you really make places like this ****ty. you think your such a hardass, yet you dont read much past the first sentence.now let this thread die, it has served its purpose.neverlift wrote:I geuss my time was a waste anyways. You dont have enough brains to figure out that plastic in the pan is from tensioner/guide. Most people, after searching, make an informed decision. Most of my reason for thinking you didnt search. But hey, even I knew it was A tensioner or guide, maybe old one but, I knew wtf it was. Goodluck fixing that!
