alryte, I have this 89 240sx fastback here and ofcourse it has the ka24e single cam. I was wondering what companies support this very unpopular motor. I don't know many companies that make performance parts for this motor. Anyone got any links to manufacturers that build this motor?

Try searching and looking @ our sponsors buddy.

Turbo stuff, lots of guys support sohc now, check out http://www.ka-t.org.

There is our sponsor, IAP (www.import-autoperformance.com), Jordan Gladman on ka-t.org makes sohc kits, http://www.jgstools.com even has a sohc project turbo car, jwttechnologies.com does some sohc cams/ecu's, and there are a few more.

SOHC is not super popular, but there is support, you just have to look slightly harder.

there are a number of things that you can do to the KA24E, but seeing as how you are in CA you are going to have a hard time passing emissions testing if you do much of anything. I would say go turbo but take as little of the emissions junk off of it. CA guys, jump in on this. I live in MO so I never have any emissions testing
