KA24E MAF without a SAFC?

Will it work. my SAFC fried and took out my MAF. its wired for a KAE MAF. took the SAFC off and ordered a new maf just wondering if i should have got a CA18DET maf or if im fine.

off the top of my head, i think it will GET YOU BY, but will run kind of poopy if at all..someone who has done this would probably help you out more.

just need to know if i should spend more money on another maf. seems to be so
