If your using the stock MAF remove the sensor completly. You see that suare plate that bolts to the air box where the stocl filter is housed. Use a band saw and cyt that part off. Just the square parts where the bolts go. Use a grinder if you have to, to smooth out the edges. When you finish you should be able to slide your cone filter right on to the MAF where it use to bolt to the air box. It worked for me when i got my first 240.
