Hi im building a home made turbo set up for my KA24e, and I plan to do a rebuild in the future, but for now, I just want to boost the stock Ka 3-4 psi, just for a little extra power, Once i build the engine, I plan to boost around 10, I was wondering, for 3-4 psi, what Fuel manage ment will I need? also what size injectors? If my fuel management is ok, will the stock KA24e be able to handle 4psi? , I have searched, but have not received any info thanks

Just use a FMU, that will work with a stock fuel system up to 7 psi.

That should work just fine for a simple 4 psi. IIRC the FMAX kit comes with a FMU and is rated at 7 psi.

My KA is bone stock and i run 7 lbs, just dyno'ed and it wasnt lean a/f was 12.0 12.5 it was fine. So if you only want to run 4 lbs you dont need to buy anything, your stock fuel regulator will bump fuel 1:1 so it works fine

Mine is in a hardbody, so there is no mass air.. I have stock injectors stock pump STOCK EVERYTHING.... the 270 cc injectors are ok for a descent amount of boost.. The pump is where your going to have problems but not at 5 lbs

so ya you will be safe at 5 lbs , but the question is can you keep it at 5 lbs... The temptation to raise it will kick in, but if you leave it it should be just fine.. As for me, i have to put an fmu and a inline pump on my truck now cause i am upping the boost
