As many single cam owners now,I'm having a problem with ticking lifters due to seized hydraulic lash adjusters,so I pulled the rocker arms out and tried a few ways to unstick them (boiling, freezing, pulling, etc.)Nothing works, so I was wondering how everyone, or anyone, else fixed this problem

Anyone know how to fix this?I've read countless threads online, and none of them really say how to fix it.They'll say how to bleed them after putting them together, but not how to take the two pieces apart.

Mine makes a rattle noise at 3k rpms and constant if I am driving on the highway at 3k.

I can't pin point the exact location seems like from the motor I dont know...

Could this be a lifter?

It has the sound of an exhaust heat shield rattle (took mine all off tho)

The ticking on my KA is constant.I'm not sure if this would be the same problem, but my camry's got a knock that's only there at higher rpm.Kinda sounds like a ticking, but it's because we had to shave down the crank on cyl 1 to fit a thicker bearing, but the bearing's a bit loose on it.I'd give you a number, but I don't have a tach in it.
