Finally finished everything reconnected it all and now it wont kick over. At first it was just one loud click and i replaced the starter and it keeps trying to start over. I took the ka24de out of a 92 it was a running car everything was fine. Ive checked over everything and made sure all the sensor were connected but still no good. I checked for fuel im about too go out now and check for spark im just no sure what else it could be...any help?

need more info is it turning fast enough? IS IT FLOODED? if you do have spark and you do have fuel i think the next step would be to check firing order Is it coughing (wanting to start but not quite starting) after you check firing order try to adjust timing by rotating the distributor (while still atached to the motor) if it still doesent start rotate the motor (using the bolt on the crank pulley works best to the second mark on the crank pulley (when you do this you have to make sure that the #1 cylinder is in its compression stroke you can either put your finger on the spark plug hole and see if pressure builds up or take off the valve cover and make sure all 4 valves on the #1 cylinder are closed) then make sure the rotor in the distributor is pointed at the #1 spark plug wire pickup on the cap. if all this is correct than it is probably a bad sensor or wiring harness or even ecu

if you know of anybody selling a ka24de is texas leme know im doin the same thing you are

Theres no spark i checked that...and i think the firing order is on the distributor cap actually. Its fast enough to start but just isnt kicking in. I just dont know what would stop it from starting it was a good running motor before i took it out of the other car.
