I have a feeling no matter what you do you are going to be spending some money for a swap, but the cheapest way to go would probably be a KA24E. The parts are very available and those engines are found in the junk yard quite often or if someone is doing a SR swap then they are sold pretty cheap. The DE will be a little more cash, and a CA, well I just spent 1200 for the whole set-up. Its not that bad but there will be a lot of money being spent on my end. It might not be that bad if you are going to drop it right in. Lastly, it all depends on what you want you want your car to do. I would give you a little more info on KA's if i could but I have not done too much research on them. Good luck with what you choose to do!

VG30e. No, not VG30DETT i mean VG30e. Shure it's N/A but, if you ever decide to go turbo, SR's and KA's will be no match. If I do my calculations correctly, my swap came out to about $1,200 +/-$100 http://teamthump.com/ Jeff will answer all your questions. Believe me when I say the VG30e is an underrated engine, you won't be disappointed.

I want vg 510, it just sounds mean , especially if theres kits to bolt them end. They're cheap motors too. If you do go that route, make sure you have a new timing belt.
