ka24e/ka24de bellhousings the same??

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

are all ka24 bellhousings the same? meaning are you able to put a ka24de gearset on a ka24e bellhousing and vise versa?

need to know asap!!

thats not entirely accurate...

KA24E bellhousings will fit KA24DE bellhousings and vice versa, but the bellhousings themselves certainly are not the same.

but for your purposes, it'll fit, just use the appropriate bellhousing for the motor

what's the difference between them? I know the obd2 cars have a mounting spot for the crank sensor? but even that isn't requiared for the car to run, I have a ka24de trans on my single cam, it bolted right up, and I know of a 96 running a s13 trans.
