I am going to be replacing the Injectors on my 1990 240SX with the KA24E engine.

While doing research on OEM replacements I found that their appears to be 3 different Injectors used.

Some are so called "Blue" injectors that only are used for #2 and #3 and some are called "Black" that are used in #1 and #4.

So far so good.

Then there are the "Orange" that they list as being used in all 4.

Can sombody explain why their are different injectors used for 1+4 and 2+3 in the first place and if I get "orange" injectors do I care what I took out? IE: Can the "Orange" replace either the "Black" or the "Blue"

As this is used in a Stock Class Race car I have to stay as close to OEM as possible.

Let me know what you find out. I was thinking about going to a larger than OEM injector though.

How long have you been racing your 240? Any tips?

from what i understood from someone else is that the different color top mean they are different pressures. like 30lbs 35lbs 50lbs but don't take my word for it

So far we have one race date on the car but prior owners ran it for a few years.

We hope to have some pictures soon. We have been too busy getting the car back to racing shape to wory about pictures.

We will try to keep you updated.
