ok i have a slight problem, figured id ask u guys for help. i have just a stock ka24e and the boots around the injector clips are all dry rotted and i believe the wires are barely in contact. if i touch any of the clips it starts misfiring and sounds like a damn subaru. haha

My friend gave me a harness that he believes came off of a dohc ka but the wires are thicker than the wires on my sohc. not exactly sure that its a dohc ka due to the fact that when he got his car it had been a dohc but had a sr20 installed. in my mind the thicker wires might hurt the injectors and supply too much resistance? is this true or will those clips do ok? just tryin to get it healthy again. thanks guys.

this might present a fix or a snakepit man..but id find the rite size wire..with the corect color coding..or at least close as possible...and remove the wire that is bad from 1 pin at a time and cutting that wire back to were it is good and soldering in a good piece of wire..then testing each wire to make shure it did not change specs..just what id do..but if you donot have a good iron and are not handy with a solder iron..then have a traind guy do it...good luck

hey man really appreciate the input. im pretty good with a soldering iron, had a lot of experience whenever we took out all of the wires outta our drag car and made our own harness from scratch. Talking about a second gen dsm by the way. But when it comes to my own personal car id rather ask questions before hand to make sure i dont ***k up haha.
