KA24E in a 91 240sx cranks but doesnt start

bought the car the 18 july, been driving it for three to four weeks. drove home one night in the rain went out the next afternoon to leave and it cranks but does not start. checked spark bought new plugs and wires sparks good but but doesnt seem to start. now the battery dies if it sits for a day and still not sure whats not working right. its my daily driver and really need it to be drivable soon.

Did you get water on your alternator? Or is that battery old?I had an issue with my old sohc where water kept getting on my alternator and it'd kill both the battery and the alt. Check voltage and whatnot

well i discovered just a bit ago... injector #4 seems to be receiving signal to open while the car is off. if pull the clip off of it it clicks and when i put it back on it clicks again. what would be the problem then? and is there power locks on an 1991 240sx hatch. i have my battery located in the hatch and when i reconnected it they locked while the doors where closed and i locked the keys in the car.

Yeah, some of them have power locks.Check the resistance of that injector. If that's good, you may have a short somewhere or a power drain.I don't know too much about electrical stuff, but maybe check the grounds on the battery relocation and the #4 injector.

ok well next week im gonna have someone take a look at it... i dont have the time to try figuring it out myself. i will keep you posted on what the problem was.
