This is going to be a long post so I can layout as much info as possible. Just swapped in this motor. 160 or 180k miles. I got it running yesterday and it was running perfect. Pulled nice and everything. Check engine light came on and I figured it was EGR valve because I never swapped that out when I did the motor swap. So I just left it. Then around 11pm when I was driving around it started bogging whenver it got around 3500+/- RPMs. I figured it was a vaccuum hose that came loose. So I headed home and parked it. Didn't stall at any lights or speed bumps. I was going to take care of it in the morning. I tried to start it this morning and it shakes to start. I had to press on the gas to keep it running and even then it had a hard time catching RPM speed. So I started checking all vacuum lines and they're fine. Ran diagnostic and it threw code 13 and 32. I searched a bit and came across the Coolant Temp Sensor (CTS) for 13. And EGR for 32. Got ahold of another coolant temp sensor from the previous removed motor. Put that in and nothing. Replaced EGR and nothing. Anyone got any ideas?

Things i've checked:Plugs, Wires, Firing Order, Fuel Injectors, CTS, MAF (switched).

Only other thing I can think of is one of the exhaust header studs was stripped out so air maybe suck in and burn valve? The other 3 on that section of header all work and are super tight.

This evening I also recleared the ECU and tried starting again and it shaked to a start but this time whenever I pressed on the gas the CEL came on and when I let off gas it went off. TPS? Please, any help?

Did you re-check for codes after clearing the ECU?

I would re-check ALL the wiring fromn the swap. Also Did you check the timing when you did the swap?

Is there any smoke? If so what color?

I know for a fact that a good condition KA24E will start and run on as little as 2 cylinders. I have done it many times between bad ECU and forgetting to reconnect things. It won't run well but it will start and idle.

The shakeing makes me think timing is off.
