Hi Boys,

Well, last weekend, I did an sr conversion, very interesting and very similar to the CA.

I drove it and the car pulls nice, but in my personal opinion I find the Ca is more aggressive, responsive and sound meaner and nicer than the SR and that wasn't the only sr that I swapped or drove.Don't take me wrong, the Sr felt torquire and a bit more powerful than the Ca, that is comparing stock to stock. But I find the power band on the CA is much better than the Sr.

So, Today I did another 240sx ca18det swap, and I thought few people asked that before and since I have done it practically and I know it works for sure, I have used A KA24E MAF to run with the CA, most of you know that it works.

But here are the hook ups.

KA black/white hooks to Ca black/whiteKA black hooks to CA blackKA white hooks to Ca green/blackCA green/yellow don't hook up to any thing.

whats the advantages for the ka maf ??? is it bigger?? because I got one in my garage.. oh btw the ca you gave me is really peppy..I since then put on a GTi-R Turbo and once it spooled everything is relaly smooth...kept up at 7 psi with a 11 psi SR his was stock turbo tho we think...im not bull****ting tho..he gets me off the line cause of my boost lag tho =( so I have to keep the revs right at least..

HI,

There is no advantage of using the sohc ka maf, the reason I used it, is because we didn't have the CA maf and the sohc one hooks up and works without any tunning to the ecu

I am glade that you are happy with the engine and yes I do find the Ca to be more aggressive than the SR.
