Hey everyone,

I need help finding the part number for this hose on my SOHC KA24E. It attaches one part of the intake plenum to another part. I tried using a generic blue silicone hose but it kinks really bad. Any help would be appreciated.

The p/n for that looks to be 14099-40F01, but even Amayama and Nengun don't show it available. My best suggestion would be a lightweight coil spring inside the silicone hose to let it bend without collapsing.

Thank you! I’ve been trying to search for those coil springs you mentioned but I’m not sure if I’m searching for the right thing. I stumbled upon these but I don’t think they apply to my situation, they seem mainly for straight hoses. Do you have any recommendations?

No, those EZ Coils are nice if you can get one small enough, the rod on them allows you to bend a permanent shape to the assembled spring/hose. But for a small hose like that, something like a lightweight storm door spring from Home Depot can also be cut to length and placed inside the hose. Or a spring vendor like Lee Spring can make you something in just about any size, spring rate, and material.
