Who makes good quality 4-2-1 headers for a KAE?I've been looking at DC and Pace setter, but I've heard they're only 4-1.

i don't think DC makes headers for the single cam and pace setter have them but not carb legal........if DC headers do have headers for single cam, can you give me the link

I've had an OBX on mine for four years. No problems.

Friends have burned through the Pacesetter. The metal is super thin.

uhmmm why are you wasting money on a SOHC with headers......just keep the stock ones your going to get nothing noticeable out of getting a header. and i mean NOTHING.......its got to be the biggest waste of money next to a CAI.... save your money and boost it/build it or something

pacesetter header is an 4-2-1 ive been looking at them for quiet some time and Remember they are 4-2-1

heres some links, i noticed there are some 4-1's but i think there for the trucks http://www.corollasport.com/paexheni24s1.html http://www.racinglab.com/paces....html http://www.turbotechracing.com...=3922

there are some stainless steel ones too but don't waste your money on those. pacesetter has a three year warranty on these. these are painted black so there lower profile for smog stations/cops you know, and they come with all the output flanges on them for your egr valve and what not.

From what I understand though, is that the black paint creates drag in the pipes and slows down the exhaust flow.Maybe I'm wrong, who knows?

lol nooo it wont make any difference on a stock motor, now if you had some race car then i can understand the polishing and ceramic coating and such. but for N/a this is more than enough.

That sucks haha.It's so tempting,but I know there's gonna be that one time that I think I won't get caught,and I will.It doesn't have I/M or it's registration,so cops would probably think it's stolen.That would be a horrible way to spend a day
