Will the ARP ka24de studs fit the ka24e head? I have been searching for hours and cannot find dimensions for the ka24e head bolts to compare. Also, is it necessary to torque-loosen-torque the new felpro gaskets? I can see how the old style 1990 gaskets might need this but it seems like it would stretch the TTY bolts which are not re-usable after stretching. (according to the assembly instructions).
TIA
Mac

I believe they are the same studs but I would call ARP first just to make sure, you can get the contact number from the website and they are very easy to deal with (awesome customer service). You should always step torque headgaskets, unless your using a MLS gasket (they dont crush fit). as far as being TTY it shoulder matter during assembly so long as your not torquing them an excessive number of times, but again you can ask arp when you call. My kade runs arp studs and felpro hg and I step torqued the head during assembly with no ill effects.

Thanks for the information you provided. Unfortunately the person I contacted thru email was not helpful without specific and exact measurements that he asked my "mechanic" to provide. I did find out that the studs for the DE are 4.7 inches long and that the studs for the E are supposed to be 5.1 minimum to 5.275 maximum in length. I provided him with this information and he blew me off telling me to fill out a spreadsheet he provided. (which I dont know more than half the info or how to measure it) But anyway, If anyone knows the part number for the correct length studs it would be appreciated.
Thanks for listening!

Chances are if they wouldn't provide you the part number information you asked for then they probably no longer package the studs as a "kit". This just means to obtain the proper stud "kit" you will need to find a speed shop that orders the studs in bulk and assembles their own kit. I know you can get them through AMS performance on Eghay, chances are they are putting together their own kit. I would call them just to make sure its the set you need before ordering them.
