Ka24e head gasket??

which is better, the stock head gasket for ka24e or aftermarket ? if an after market is better , then what brand would be best to buy it in?

unless the blocks out of the car, and you're ready to prep the living HELL out of it, and the head.. avoid all metal headgaskets like the plague. you'll never get them to seal.

I myself just got done replacing my head gasket. I myslef got a FelPro head gasket kit from Auto Zone. I don't remember exactly how much it cost, but it was deffinatly worth it because the kit came with every gasket the I needed, including many I didn't. Some of the ones included were. Head gasket (duh), intake manifold, exhaust manifold, fuel injector O-rings, all valve stem seals, throtthe body, fuel injection, valve cover, thermostat, and quite a few others.Ryan

get the whole kit and use all the gaskets.. i mean you might as well with everything off.. i second the felpro kit, or the oem kit.
