ok here is my problems and the solutions i have tried.

for the past month the engine has been acting up. it all started when i tried to start it and all it did was turn over and over. after flooding the cylinders...i let it sit and waited. tried it again and turned on no problem but had a funky idle and throttle response. the idle would sit at 1000rpms then as soon as i hit the throttle the rpms would drop to around 700 or even 650 then i would let off and the engine would spike to 1,500rpms then return to 1,000. i was like..hmmmm

first fix. i thought it could be losing fuel pressure so i replaced fuel filter to a 300z's after no luck and still crazy starts and idles...i got some more money and thought well...maybe spark or dist cap. so i replaced both...no change....

i tested to see if i had a dead cylinder and all was working well although the change from 3 cylinders to 4 with pulling the wires didnt do much i noticed a change. so here i am...the next time im thinking it could be is the MAF..but iim not for sure. the car has 227,000 miles on it and not sure how bad it has been treated. i got the car for 1,500 and it looked and ran great. i have a 1990 fastback.

thz alot i really need some help here!!!

Have you checked for spark?

At that millage it's a good idea to change spark plugs, wires, and even the distributor.

ok so wat should i be looking for if im using the multimeter. wat voltage should the tps be. also...it only does it once in a while. like today it ran fine but no crazy start but a lil idle problem with throttle issues. but nothing like it was doing...

look it up you could down load the FSM. have you checked to see if all you injectors are worken'? unplug them one at a time. that will tell you it there is no fuel, like you did with your plug wires
