hey guys i recently did a fresh rebuild and deleted all of my emissions crap. i am not sure where to get vaccum from for my regulator. does it need all vaccum or just a percentage, cause i know it was connected to a sensor but i deleted it. i was going to just tee it in to the intake mani vaccum but i thought i would ask yall first. thanks brothas/sistas

I'm sure it would be okay to tee into the intake manifold vacuum.

I have a vac line running from my mani straight to my FPR. but this is on a ka24de if that makes any diff.

if you have a constant source of vac then i would see no problem with running a t off it to the FPR. Thats the way it looked to be set up on my engine from the factory.

All i could tell you is that the regulator need manifold vacuum not intake. The reason is at idle the regulator keeps 43psi fuel pressure at full vacuum and under load is around 35psi because vacuum decreases.

Anywhere past the TB will do just fine. As stated, It needs manifold vacuum.

The lass vacuum it sees. the more fuel gets dumped in.

ok..it does need manifold vacume...but its not for less fuel...its for more fuel under load at WOT or Wide Open Throttle...if u use an after market regularot and fuel system they are desighned the same way as the standard fuel systems are..to add fuel under load and WOT to prevent running lean and couseing detonation and sevear engine damage..so basicly..when you put your foot into it..your fuel deliver is increased in 2 ways..elcetronicly by the injector pulses..and mechanicly by the regulator and vacum assistance...hope this clears some things up for ya.
