I know the firing order but I do not know what plug goes where. I know this is a newbie question. Please help. Or if you can take a picture of your engine by as to where which plug goes where. I don't know where the plug wires go because the person who sold me the car didn't know what they were doing.

That diagram is for the KA24DE not the KA24E but your distributor cap should be marked. If not then I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help.

as far as i know its (its like this on my KA..)1 2 4 3 ad thats clockwise with number 1 at around 4 o'clock

1342 if you go counterclockwise(the way the rotor rotates) its the same deal, just check in both irections.. if they match up youre set...

also.. on a kaE if your timing is off, like 180 degrees you can reset it just by taking the engine to TDC, and taking out the oil pump and rotating the shaft inside it.. (gonna need to remove the distributor to do it.., )

omg. as far as which plug goes where.. take all the plugs, sort them out by length.. and the shortest one is number 1, and the longest one, number 4(the number 4 is a lil bit different from the rest too)

EMC so yours is a E and not a DE motor? The last firing order I did was like this...

4 32 1

And your saying to do it like this?

4 23 1

nope.. the last one you had was correct......

should run well...

unless you jumped timing somehow.. (or maybe your timing is 180 off) try setting your engine to TDC (on compresion stroke) and see where the distributor rotor is at....
