ka24e engine ticks

I've got a KA-E in my '90 coupe.

From time to time my car makes a wierd ticking noise that I hear from inside of the car. It sounds like a baseball card in spokes but kinda quiet.

Anyone know wtf? :confused:

aiv valve? minor exhaust manifold leak?

check the chain or have it checked. if it snaps or wears a hole in the cover your engines wrecked
