well there is ka24e from 89-90 240sx 140hp and 155torque than ka24e out 90-97 of nissan pickup 133-5 hp and 155 torque also z24i out of 86-89 nissan pickup and even ka24e in a sentra

so how are the engines different? why 240sx has more hp but the same torque as others? and how different are blocks and heads in them? could 240sx use parts out of those engines?

Aside from the hardbody and 240sx, the ka24e was offered in the Stanza (not sentra) and Axxess.

Here are the exact specs:

240sx: 140 HP and 152 ft/lbs torqueHardbody: 134 HP and 154 ft/lbs TorqueAxxess & Stanza : 138 HP and 148 ft/lbs Torque

If you ever looked at the intake setup on a hardbody you'll see it's different. The intake on a 240sx is also designed for more torque than it is on a Stanza or Axxess (longer & higher velocity). Power differences can also be due to different exhaust system designs. Also early 240sx's had higher compression and after Nissan revised this, I doubt that they lowered the HP and TQ numbers.
