people piss and moan enough about converting an e to a de doing just a headswap with 240sx parts, i'm not sure anyone round here is badass enough to have pulled off a frontier head on an e block...

if you physically have the parts you should be able to tell right away, but i'm assuming you dont?

ka24de frontier timing cover will only fit frontier block. It could be slightly modified to fit onto a sohc block but will offer no advantages as far as mating to a dohc head is concerned (assuming your wanting to use a 240sx head). You would still have to do the same amount of fab work.

Now if you were to use a frontier head, that would be a different story in the modification department (closing the gap). The frontier cover would still yeild little advantage and you would want to use the sohc cover (easier).

*NOTE: Frontier ka24de has sohc style oil pump/distributor (slim upper/lower), just because it is ka24de does not mean it will mate the 240sx de head to the sohc block.
