Hey guys, I have a '90 S13 with KA24E. I have been in the processing of making her road worthy again. I replaced the factory hoses with silicon. After that my radiator cracked and started leaking. I replaced the radiator then the water pump started leaking from the weep hole. So I replaced the water pump and installed a set of Altima e-fans. Now I am having random coolant leaks from under the intake manifold but it does not leak all the time. Only on longer trips (20 mi +). Has any one ever had this happen. I think I'm going to have to pull the manifold and replace the intake gasket but I would like to get some advice first. I can't get a good view under the manifold where its leaking but I can see that its not the hoses are leaking. I have yet to have the car overheat also.

Thanks ahead of time.

There are coolant lines under the intake where you cant see. One of those lines may be leaking. I'd dismantle it and replace those coolant hoses, and the vacuum lines that are there. Most likely none of them have been changed.

Good luck, I had a problem recently where I was leaking coolant. I replaced a PITA hose under the intake manifold but it ended up being the return line coming from the throttle body to the little nipple that is made into the upper rad hose connector. That nipple broke off and I ended up jbwelding the hole shut and adding a temp sensor adapter w/ 1/8"npt fitting for the return hose.

Thanks guys. I pulled the power steering pump off and noticed that the U-shaped hose going from the thermostat housing up to the manifold was leaking from the thermostat side. I order a new one from Courtesy Nissan and also all the other hoses under there too.
