i was wondering if the two blocks were the exact same and if this conversion is common and how much effort it takes. thnx

how much would it be estimated from a junk yard or new. do u know anybody that has done this personally or seen any done

They do not bolt up. Either he's joking with you or.... well i don't want to flame. The coolant passages etc. do not line up. You'll have to swap the entire KA24DE engine, and that's pretty easy.
