i would think that is just normal wear and tear i wouldn't think that 20 psi would have that much of and effect make shure that you check NO. 4 chamber it has a tendency to be much lower in psi's due to crappy head gaskets and water jacket placement, and is it smoking when running?

+1, replace your HG before you even try to run your car again. You dont want to import another Ka im sure. Show it some love, its a beast of a motor .

I would almost bet the no. 4 cyl. side of head gasket went out, when you replace it replace with a cometic and make shure you use copper spray on both sides of gasket before putting to gether or it will not seal well but cometic will help to prevent this form happening as easily how many miles does your motor have? p.s. i had almost the same prob. with my motor i have picks of it and my car on myspace search display name Legion Motorsports
