Hey guys, Lately i've been building a KA24E for track. I got a stage 1 clutch kit with flywheel and installed it. Soon after i dropped the engine in and bolted it to the transmission i noticed right away the fork that is pushed by the piston for the clutch had a larger gab than usual. But i tried it anyways and pumped the clutch and the piston couldn't reach that far and fell out. I\m not sure why the fork i'snt reaching the clutch and why there so much room between the piston and fork. I haven't connected anything on the engine so i'm thinking about taking the engine back out and thinking off a reason why its doing what its doing.

Thanks guys !!!

-Kody

Hmm. I dont know if Im understanding what your saying but, you could have a possibly bent clutch fork or maybe even installed it wrong. Its hard for me to wrap my head around what your saying. if you post some pics of what your trying to describe or maybe even put it into different words im sure myself or one of the other people on this site can help you...good luck

MY apologies.. Heres 2 pics.. the first one is the piston all the way in and then it fully pushed out and not able to reach the fork.

then this is as far as it will go and it still doesnt even push on the fork.

i also tried to put a bolt inbetween the 2 to make up for the gap but it seems like the fork is already as far back as it can go.

ok so i ordered the part and as far as that nismo peice that is i guess longer than the stock one its alittle out of my budget for now so i made a peice thats similiar its longer than the original peice and is adjustable. lol its reall just a bolt that i rounded out with a grinder, then put a nut on it then screwed it into the hold and now i can adjust it to what ever i need.

alright guys thanks for the help!!! i got that slave cyl for only 15 bucks and it works perfectly !! I know now the best place to get information.
