ka24e cluster does work with a de motor

I currently have a 95 motor transmission in my 90 240sx and my tach does not work.....well i just finished installing everything exactly the same on my friends car and his tach works....everyone on nico said this could not work well it works on his car...WTF......comments......

i put a 93 ka24de in my 89 240sx and i had to change the tach... i read alot of stuff before i did the swap ... everyone told me to swap the tach because there is something different about the distributer.

likewise with me....well my friends work and i did all the work my self the same as i did to my car...and his works and mine does not....????
