ka24e cell recovery

So i was getting some cold start idle issues after letting my sister drive my car and decided to check the ecu for any cells i might be throwing. stupid me had the car turned on while doing so so im pretty sure i erased any codes i had, if any, and still have crappy cold starts. My question is, If i did throw some cells, will they ever show up again? because the code 55, no malfunction, is a big fat lie
