hey my 1990 240sx ran and idled perfect, i stopped driving it for about a month cause the it needed a new trany (fatory 5spd) but i sometimes would start it and let it idle till it got warm, i got the new transmission in and i drove it around and now below 2k it drives fine, but the second i get past 2k it bogs and looses engine speed, i had the throttle 3/4 of the way pressed and it slowly looses engine speed and the second it get to 2k rpm it start to accelerate. The only time i can get not to hesitate is if i floor it and even then it doesnt pull like it used too. Also i unhooked the tps nd it runs a lot better, Maf checks out, with the tps unhooked it hesistates for a split second and then it runs good again, also with the tps unhooked the hesitating is random at any rpm but its really minimal

fuel pump is one good one but also check you fuel injector connections and see if they have corrosion and also check evcery basically in the fuel region like pump, injectors, fuel filter, etc....
