ka24e and ka24de block question

will a s14 ka24de block will work a ka24e head..? and if a ka24de DOCH clutch would fit a ka24e trans and block.. if not what do i need to change to make the clutch and the flywheel fit... thanks in advance and i know this may sound stupid to some people in here.. but oh well i just wanted to know if it will work before i do anything..

i think people have put a DOHC head on a SOHC block, but its not a bolt on swap

Should have searched but all 240 clutches are the same so yes a 'dohc' clutch will work w/ a sohc...and i know people have used DE head on E block but I don't work about the other way around...if it did work, it would, like ^ said, not bolt right on...

so your sayin is that a doch flywheel and clutch will also fit on a soch block and trans.. ohh and silviasxy your s13 is nice.. where did you get your conversion done...

180fast, I have seen a writeup bout a year ago w/pictures putting a DE head on a sohc block. I dont know if they completed the swap but do a search. one thing though, I think it takes less modifications to get truck sohc truck pistons(same as high comp 89240sx) and put em in the de than to swap heads.
